Championship Sunday

Yesterday, the sun rose over Rockville Swim and Fitness Center as the Hard Times team arrived in defense of our second place trophy. As you should know by now we were successful!

Thanks to the veterans who stayed with us from last year, and to all the new swimmers who joined this year. It was a great effort by all to defend our trophy by just about 200 points.

I am hoping to present our trophy to the owners of Hard Times Cafe as soon as we get it (hopefully in the next 2 weeks!) for it's rightful display spot at the front counter. I would like to invite all of you to join me that day/evening when it occurs. For the uninitiated, Hard Times Cafe has the best chili in the DMV as well as good wings and burgers. I will let you all know as soon as I get the trophy.

I will post this years team picture to the website this week.

Thanks again for you efforts, your time, your enthusiasm, and your camaraderie at the meets!
